Phone Traxxx - a live act comprised of three members: Alec Falconer, Harry Wills and Rob Amboule - first started in 2017 as a series of anonymous vinyl releases with an emphasis on stripped back Garage sounds.

Each record came with no artist info and instead featured a classic model from the golden age of mobile phones.

As well as feedback (in the style of 90s dance music promo vinyls) the records featured a UK mobile phone number and the words Don’t Be A Stranger…

As a live project, Phone Traxxx takes the approach of a band.  Each member has a role and needs to listen to one another to ensure that flourishes and improvisations are given space.

If a section is working well, it can be extended.  If a track is working well, a section can be added.  If a set is going too quickly, a track can be added. The route is predestined by the way which they get there is chosen by the crowd as much as Phone Traxxx.

Over the last two years, Phone Traxxx has played live shows for across Europe at some of the best clubs on the continent.  With each show, new tracks are added and old ones are scrapped.
